Seishi Inagaki

Japan

Seishi Inagaki, in his career as a world athlete, which spanned from 1987 from 2005, won an unprecedented total of 26 Gold Medals. He captured 16 Gold Medals in Men’s Freestyle Solo (5 consecutive world championships in the Junior Men’s Division and 11 consecutive world championships in Senior Men’s Division.) In addition to that, won 6 gold medals in Freestyle Pair, along with this partner, Chiharu Tachibana and 4 Gold Medals as a member of Team Japan. We many never see the likes of another amazing accomplishment like this again. Upon retiring from competition, Seishi quickly moved from athlete to coaching and has now produced many gold medal teams and groups for Japan in recent years. His extraordinary talent with choreography and design has made him an entrepreneur in new developments for our sport. Seishi has proven himself to be deserving of WBTF Honorary membership.
