It is with great sadness that I must inform you of the death of Marie-Ange BRILLET, historical figure of our discipline and the French Federation, which occurred last Sunday.
I think especially worth felt by her relatives and many friends.
Marie-Ange was still licensed to our Federation. She would have turned 70 in September.
Her funeral will be held on:

After the National Federation of Majorettes de France (FNMF), in 1967 she won the first championship dexterity and was at the initiative of creating "Stick and Majorettes" the first French magazine Twirling.
She then published several books on the art of the stick:
- The Code of perfect majorettes in 1969
- Thanks and technology in 1978
- Developments and choreography for sets of majorettes In 1978
First Technical Director of the National Federation of Majorettes de France, it contributed greatly to lay the technical foundations of Baton Twirling today.
Marie-Ange participated in the creation of the French Federation of Majorettes (FFM) May 27, 1972 and was elected to the Executive Committee.
She then helped create our Federation (FFTB) on 14 and 15 January 1978 in Biarritz. Member of the Management Board, she assured the Directorate of Majorettes Revue Magazine.
In 1982, she was appointed Vice-President of the National Technical Commission, responsible for International Championships. As such it frames with Christine BEL and D. NOCIAR, the first team of France of our Federation.
As Professor Federal, she then toured France for many technical and choreographic workshops allowing clubs where she intervened to get many championship titles in France.
Marie-Ange has contributed to the writing of many beautiful pages of our discipline and Federation. For us to do that the following are worthy and respectful of her teachings.
